Diving in the Oosterschelde
Or are you a diver, and are you looking for an area where everyone can enjoy themselves? Then De Stelhoeve is the right place for you! We offer you a combination of diving and recreational stay.
Various diving facilities
Because there was much diving along the embankment near De Stelhoeve, there has been consultation with the Dutch Underwater Sports Association (NOB). We asked them what important additions can be made for a diver in our park. That is why, among other things, a room has been realized in which one can shower after diving, rinse the suits and equipment and let all the gear dry.
The Diving Barn is located in front of the park, right next to the embankment. There is also a staircase that allows you to go directly up the embankment. This way you can easily get to the dive site of De Stelhoeve which is located directly on ''de Oosterschelde''.
Filling station and dive shop
Furthermore, there is a filling station for compressed air bottles 50 meters away and there is a diving shop in the village, where you can buy all the necessary equipment.
Sailing in Zeeland
Wemeldinge has a large marina with 485 places (www.vdrest.nl). This marina has recently been expanded with 45 luxury berths. Around this harbor you will find cozy terraces, a restaurant (www.bomdia.nl), an eatery (www.puurjuno.nl) and a water sports store. Nice to walk past, it is just 5 minutes from the Stelhoeve.
Goese golf
Within 5 minutes by car from De Stelhoeve you will find the golf complex Goese Golf. This 18-hole competition course was realized in 1995 at the time of the construction of the Goese Meer. The Goese Golf has extensive practice facilities and a professional and active golf school.
